Manisha Koirala is a Nepali-Indian model and actress noted for her performances in films such as Bombay, Akele Hum Akele Tum (both 1995), Khamoshi: The Musical (1996), Dil Se.. (1998), and Company (2002). She was born in the Nepali Koirala family to Prakash Koirala andSushma Koirala on August 16, 1970. Her grandfather, B.P. Koirala, was Nepal’s Prime Minister. On 29 November 2012, media news reported that Koirala has been diagnosed with cancer.Then started her journey within herself, leading her to deepen her learnings and take the path of Mindfulness . Having survived Cancer , she is now sharing her inspiring journey with all, who are desirous of going beyond the obvious.



Dr. Ajay Bakshi is the Managing Director & CEO of Manipal Health Enterprises (Manipal Hospitals), the corporate healthcare and hospitals entity of the Manipal Education & Medical Group. Manipal Hospitals’ healthcare network comprises of primary, secondary and tertiary facilities. It has 16 hospitals covering 5,000 beds in India and overseas Dr. Bakshi has played multiple roles – as a neurosurgeon, a stem cell scientist, a strategy consultant and as Managing Director & CEO of a hospital network in North India over the last 2 decades. He is a MBBS and M.Ch. (Neurosurgery) from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. After finishing his Chief Residency, he has worked as a Consultant Neurosurgeon at Vidya Sagar Institute of Mental Health & Neurosciences (VIMHANS), New Delhi. During this period he started a successful endoscopic neurosurgery practice, in addition to performing more than 600 major brain and spinal surgeries for complex neurosurgical conditions.As a Neuroscientist, Dr. Bakshi brings deep insights to the cross-section of Mindfulness and Science , and its application to the principals of Leadership.




Michael is the author of Awake at Work, The Mindful Leader and Fearless at Work. During his 30+ year business career, he held executive positions with Shearson Lehman/American Express, Simon & Schuster and The Walt Disney Company. Michael presently offers coaching, consulting and mindfulness support to such enterprises as Merck, Procter & Gamble, AstraZeneca, BASF, Google, Starbucks, RED, Cisco Systems and National Geographic Expeditions.

He has been practicing meditation since 1976, and is an authorized teacher in the Kagyu-Nyingma lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. BK Shivani is a Rajyoga Meditation Teacher who has been studying spiritual knowledge and practicing the ancient technique of Rajyoga Meditation, as taught by the Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya, Mount Abu, for the past 12 years. She conducts motivational courses through seminars and television programmes.

Rajiv Mehrotra is an Indian writer, and documentary film maker. He is Trustee/Secretary of the Foundation for Universal Responsibility of His Holiness the Dalai Lama established with the Nobel Peace prize (www.furhhdl.org), Managing Trustee of The Public Service Broadcasting Trust (www.psbt.org) and Chairman of The Media Foundation (www.thehoot.org). Susanna is a clinical psychologist, certified in Mind-Body Medicine and specializing in crisis intervention and trauma, helping both enterprises and individuals navigate through critical events. Over the past 20 years she has been applying mindfulness-based methods in varied therapeutic settings, engaging children, adolescents, adults, teachers, and corporate leaders individually and in groups.

As a trained yoga instructor, a certified meditation instructor and certified in Mind-Body Medicine, Susanna is delighted to bring these cutting edge methods to help people embrace a personal path to healing and renewed psychological health.

Sadia Saeed


Sadia is the founder and chief psychologist of Inner Space- a counseling and psychotherapy center in Mumbai and the founder of Mindful Spring- an online platform dedicated to mindful living and meditation. In her 17 years of practice as a clinical psychologist she has extensively worked with various individuals and organizations helping incorporate mindfulness practices in order to aid emotional resilience, personal growth and mental health.

Her expertise is in blending the eastern and western approaches- integrating the study of Buddhist Suttas and yogic practices with neuroscience, evolutionary psychology and principles of somatic healing to present mindfulness in a way that is applicable to challenges of the present day.

She has conceptualized the ‘Integrated Mindfulness Program’ aiding people to learn mindfulness gradually which includes workshops and retreats. For organizations, she has developed ‘The Mindful Leader’ and ‘The Mindful Organization’ programs which are aimed at increasing emotional resilience and collaboration in the work culture.
